Today, the Admiral's Men revived Dr Faustus, Christopher Marlowe's famous tragedy about a scholar who sells his soul to the devil. You can read more about it in the entry for 2 October.

After a relatively successful performance a week ago, the company has rushed Dr Faustus back to the stage, but today's mediocre box office is more typical of the fortunes of this over-familiar play.
